Welcome, Luka Caratsch!

Today, we’re thrilled to announce the latest addition to this exceptional group: Luka Caratsch, who joins us as a Venture Partner based in France.

For Luka, this is more of a homecoming than a new beginning. Back in 2020, Luka worked with us as a Visiting Analyst in Berlin. During that time, he crossed paths with Swan, one of our portfolio companies, as the Creandum funds were leading their Seed round. Enthralled by Swan’s vision and opportunity, Luka joined the team shortly after and has since played a pivotal role in transforming the company from an early-stage startup into a thriving business, recently adding another $44M to its Series B round.

Today, Luka serves as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Swan, where he oversees a team of 40 people. Luka’s journey at Swan has given him invaluable insights into the rollercoaster of scaling fast-growth companies. He understands the hurdles founders face in finding product-market fit, building early traction, and assembling high-performing teams—lessons he now shares passionately with Creandum’s portfolio companies as a trusted advisor.

As a local in Paris, Luka will play a major role in our Creandum team efforts to further support founders in France as one of Europe’s most vibrant tech scenes with Paris being the leading hub for AI.
