Emelie Odelfalk

Emelie is an Executive Assistant in the Stockholm Office supporting Peter Stilwell, our Operating Partner. She plays a pivotal role coordinating all the moving parts across board meetings, team operations, and keeping the wider fund machine ticking over seamlessly.

I grew up in Stockholm in what we today call a modern family. Being the youngest of four bonus siblings taught me early that nothing comes from holding back - if you want something, you go all in. Half measures were never really my thing, and my parents would probably say they still aren’t.

Looking back, it feels fitting that my father was a professional poker player throughout my first 20 years of life. “All in” wasn’t just something in poker - it was a mindset that shaped how I approached life. 

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been driven by the desire to improve and to perform at my very best. As a teenager, that translated into one clear focus: train, learn, compete, always pushing toward the highest level and striving to win. Yes, I spent every spare moment outside of school at the stable with my horses, where dedication, discipline, and resilience became the foundation of who I am today.

After completing the Economics Programme in high school with focus in law, I chose to take a short pause from school before pursuing the law programme at university. That decision led me to Creandum - initially as a consultant, but when the opportunity to join permanently arose, it was an easy choice. The prospect of building my career alongside some of the most talented and driven people in the industry was one I couldn’t turn down.

That decision placed me at the heart of the venture capital world at just 19 years old. What I've come to love most about VC is its relentless demand for growth - there is always another layer to understand and another challenge to rise to.

At Creandum, I work closely with Operating Partner Peter Stilwell, where my focus is on ensuring structure, clarity, and momentum to his work and broader responsibilities. I take pride in creating the conditions that allow others to operate at their highest level. 

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my family, either at the golf course or out in the Swedish archipelago.
