Alexandra Österman

Stockholm, Executive Assistant

Alexandra is an Executive Assistant in our Stockholm office and supports Staffan Helgesson. She the one keeping deals, board meetings, and founder support running smoothly behind the scenes.

I grew up in Gothenburg on Sweden’s west coast with my mum, dad and younger sister, in a warm and social home where there was always room for friends around the table. As a kid I had lots of energy, curiosity and ideas, and loved being busy creating, exploring and trying new thing. And nothing's changed since! My career as an Executive Assistant started when I got the opportunity to move back to Australia and work for an Australian company. Being very much a “say yes” kind of person, I rarely turn down a challenge so before I knew it I was on a plane heading down under.

With the Stockholm team for Christmas Festivities

Since then, I’ve worked across companies of different sizes and industries and had the opportunity to collaborate closely with a range of leaders and management teams, gaining valuable experience along the way. I’ve loved the role ever since, it’s dynamic and no two days are the same. I thrive in fast-paced, varied and social environments where I get to work with inspiring people, solve problems and make things happen. My mum often says I was like Pippi Longstocking growing up, convinced that anything was possible and determined that I could do anything myself. Not much has changed since then. I’m a doer at heart, very much an all-or-nothing kind of person, and always looking for ways to make things run a little smoother.

With Clara, Nelson, Katarina, and Filip in Kitzbühel!

Before even officially starting at Creandum, I joined the team on an offsite in Kitzbühel and received such a warm welcome from an incredible group of people. It immediately felt like a very special place to be. The culture at Creandum is truly something special, and I’m so excited to be here and contribute alongside such inspiring and driven colleagues. Outside of work I love bringing people together and hosting dinners at home. Cooking and trying new recipes is one of my favourite ways to unwind. Long walks with our dog or a workout are also high on the list, and I’m always happy to jump on a plane and explore somewhere new.
